[erlang-questions] 17.1 vs R16

Hi,

Independently of feature (in)compatibility, AFAIK the newer BEAM
bytecode will not be compatible itself and R16 will outright refuse to
run it with such an error message (concerning newer, unrecognised
opcodes or something of the sort).
