A few "undef! ARGH! I need to call that immediately to put this system
back into operation! Get the bloody hell out of my way, compiler!"
experiences have left a lasting impression on me and some colleagues. :-)

But I also find it a routine nuisance in normal programming. I won't
elaborate on this since it's been discussed to death for 10+ years and
not even the Bluetail group managed to find a good compromise.

I don't make very much use of the trace BIFs - but I don't see that
they serve the same purpose.
