Latest Erlang on Mac OS X Panther

Is that linking problem only for the Shared Heap emulator?

In that case, a simply workaround would be to comment out
the building of the Shared Heap emulator from the Makefile,
as it is not critical for building the rest of OTP.

We (OTP) will look into this problem, but as Mac OS X is not
one of our commercial platforms it may take some time. For the
time being, we let our only Mac continue to run Jaguar.

However, as soon as I get Panther on my Mac at home
(est. mid November), I'll look into this problem.
