Text encoding problems

Hi!

 

I am currently developing an agent in erlang which takes news items from
three different web sites and puts them in an RSS-file.

My problem is that these sites use different text encodings, which becomes a
huge problem when they are put in the same

XML-file. Does anyone how to get through this problem? Can erlang convert
the character encoding in some way?
