I think I used code injection originally since I was lazy and didn't  
know better.

My Mac-(and Mach)-foo has much improved since [1] and I'd like to put  
forth a proper fix, if only I could remember how I built HiPE  
originally :-(. I can't find any mention of code injection in erts/ 
emulator/hipe, for example.
