supervisor internal state corruption

Hi,

I've just run into the supervisor internal state corruption on OTP 23.0.3
that has been fixed with
https://github.com/erlang/otp/commit/e78ec220622b0c0bff329a54d79bfbfeb4ced018#diff-fbfd7bb2c1f79df2b42a31516bd6d8a9

The commit message for that problem only says "causes unnecessary growth of
the supervisor's heap". In my case it led to complete failure to start new
clients, the return exception always beeing `badmap`.

That problem might be rare, but it is quite hard to understand. Would it be
possible to roll a 23.0.4 as soon as possible with the state corruption fix?
