Hi all,
I am glad to announce the "Erlang LS" project to this mailing list. The
project is the result of almost two years of development and the work of 12
different contributors.
What does this mean to you? That you can keep using favourite text editor /
IDE and boost your Erlang productivity from today.
Erlang LS implements features such as code-navigation, go-to-definition,
edoc on hover, in-line diagnostics, code formatting and more, in an
editor-agnostic way. The project has been tested with Emacs, Vim, VSCode,
Sublime Text 3 and many other editors.
You can check the complete list of (constantly growing) features provided
by Erlang LS at:
https://erlang-ls.github.io/features/
An overview of the project and instructions on how to get started with a
specific editor are available at:
https://erlang-ls.github.io/
The source code is accessible at:
https://github.com/erlang-ls/erlang_ls
I would like to use this opportunity to thank Juan Facorro, Alan Zimmerman,
Onno Vos, Benjamin Barault and all other contributors. Without you, the
project would have not reached this state.
I cannot wait for you all to try Erlang LS. If you have any questions about
the project, feel free to open a new issue on GitHub. You can also join the
#erlang-ls channel in the Erlanger Slack if you would like to get involved
or if you prefer a more informal mean of communication. All contributions
are welcome, be them in the form of a bug report, a question, feedback, or
code.
Have a great weekend,
Roberto Aloi
