[erlang-questions] C:\Program Files\erlx.x.x\bin - yes or no?

hmm, I just did a test install on windows 7 of win64[1] and it
correctly put an erl.exe in the  C:\Program Files\erl5.9.2\bin folder.

What version of Windows are you testing on?
