Line numbers in exception backtraces

Any word on getting line numbers added to backtraces (i.e. source code line
where an exception was raised)?  I was wondering if there were any EEPs on
this front recently.  I didn't see any from a cursory Googleing.

Also, if there are any parse transforms that presently work for this purpose
(are smart_exceptions maintained?) I'd also like to know about those.
