  gtk-server is similar in philosophy to gtknode, and hence very cool :>
i can see two advantages to using gtknode; glade support and the use of
the erlang distribution for communication. of course, i am not a
gtk-server expert, so I might be mistaken about glade support.
  on the other hand, i'm sure the gtk-server guys are much better C
programmers than me.
  and as far as i can tell neither one uses native widgets on windows or
mac.
