With the strong Euro, the American price is quite a bit cheaper (about
one fourth).

Still, shipping cost make it cheaper to order from Amazon Germany if
you're living in Germany.

But why 550 pages? Didn't the Pragmatic Programmer's website say
something about 400 pages?
