PIDs an priority

[Eduardo Figoli (INS)]

I have a process that waits for messages and immediately (ala Erlang) spawn new processes.
These new processes do some logic (accessing mnesia) and sometimes taking minutes.

I have seen that ERTS makes priority to spawning processes rather than processing the ones already spawned.
How does this works in ERTS?
