ear, ecc, elink and escript?

I was just building otp for the first time (R10B on Fedora
Core 2 and 3), and 'make install' creates symlinks in
/usr/local/bin for ear, ecc, elink and escript, but those
don't actually exist.  The output of the build shows no
errors that I can see and there seem to be source files
for these in 'erts/boot/src/' but they don't seem to
get built by 'make'.  Am I doing something wrong?
