It is interesting how languages and environments are modelled after their
intended use (form follows function here too)

A similar thing, but reversed, can be said about another feature relative to
code migration: security. Erlang assumes all participants are fully trusted
when they are accepted as peers, and all code is friendly, which has shown
to be restricting when one wants to open up across the Internet. Of course,
work is being done to try to make it work, but I suspect others are also
trying to cope with failure too.
