Hello,

I do not think this has been mentionned before but a proper GUI
interface for Erlang might rely on GNUStep (http://www.gnustep.org/)

This is a very famous framework known for its ease of programming. It is
mostly based on Objective C.
The framework also covers some distributions feature that could be
integrated with Erlang.
This framework is based on NextStep and OpenStep which also serves as a
basis for MacOSX. As such a GNUStep GUI Application can be made to run
on MacOSX (Cocoa is the NextStep like framework).

GNUStep also provide a Postscript management of the screen (MACOs X went
further by proposing a PDF handling of the screen).

I hope this can help.
