Some more suggestions. These are more along the lines
of cleaning up the existing stuff.

* Garbage collection of atom table.

* Emulator not dying when it runs out of memory.

* Better exceptions (e.g., return {mod, func, arity,
line, reason}). Maybe leave a way open to add
"structured exceptions" or "exception objects" that
can contain even more info.

* Record operations should check that they are
actually working on the right kind of records.
