Erlang AI?

IMO Erlang is the best functional language for AI work, because of atoms 
and dynamic typing.  It should be relatively easy to convert most any 
program in Norvig's _Paradigms of Artificial Intelligence Programming_ to 
Erlang.  I've been meaning to try a few, but I haven't had the time.  I'm 
still grinding out C++ code at a furious pace during the day, 
unfortunately :)
