Being wrong is fine, everyone is wrong most of the time, the trick is to
recognize that you are.
On the other hand I'll give you one piece of advice: there are no dumb
questions. A question might, however, be wrong, in the sense that it was
triggered by misunderstanding things beforehand. Helping others figure
out their mistake is much better than labeling it a "dumb question".
