The first word in the body text of that page is wrong.

English has a large class of verbs called "phrasal verbs".
For example,
	John set the printer up.	NP V(P) NP P
	John set up the printer.	NP V(P) P NP
	The printer setup was wrong.
When you glue the verb and the particle together, as in "setup",
you create a noun.  When you want a verb, you have to write the
two words separately.  So

	Setup the environment just like it was done previously.

	Set ERL_TOP the environment variable:

should be

	Set the environment up just like before.
	Set the environment variable ERL_TOP:

Actually, the heading "Documentation" would probably be better as

	Making the documentation

Then

	as described in the README file. Shortly:

"shortly" means "in a short time".  s/Shortly/Briefly/

	 and release the necessary files.

What does it mean to "release" a file?  Unlock it?
