http:request issue

inets:start().
http:request(post, {"http://biggie/publish", [], "application/x-www- 
form-urlencoded", "topic=events&event=test_event&data=%22test%22"},  
[], []).

It does not matter what I put in the URL above, the request just hangs  
forever when I invoke the above in the shell. It's never hitting the  
server.

Any suggestions?
