[erlang-questions] enfile error in socket

Dear all,

I faced a *enfile* error in socket connection while running an aplication in
erlang version 5.5 in Windows Server 2003.

I tried to increase the environment variable for ERL_MAX_PORT using *erlang:
**open_port**/2*. But i dont know how to use the first parameter
(*PortName*) of
this function. Please guide me in changing ERL_MAX_PORT.
