[erlang-questions] Generic interface for c-nodes

I remember reading some time ago in a post by the authors of GtkNode 
that  they had used an automatic tool to build some of the boilerplate 
for interfacing erlang using the c headers of gtk. My question is did 
they write a special toold for that or is there a general tool that can 
do that. I have need to interface erlang to a c library and would like 
to take advantage if a tool exists.
