How would this work in practice? That is how would a new box brought up
on the network know what IP address the registration service is at?

I would like to treat my poker server as a home appliace, a web-
configurable router of sorts. It would seem that for the registration
idea to work I would need to ask the user to enter the IP address of the
box where the registration service is running. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    Thanks, Joel
