erl_errno variable in EI library

Hi, 

I'm using EI library in a multithreaded enviroment: I have one thread to send 
data and other to receive. Somewhere says that EI is thread safe.

I have a problem sometimes using ei_x_receive_tmo() function. This functon 
sometimes returns ERL_ERROR but erl_errno == 0. 

I don't known what does that mean. I'm actuIly ignoring the error using a 
while loop.
