I created boot and script files that rely on the $ROOT var as part of the paths to my erlang libraries, but I could not figure out how to set the $ROOT variable from the startup script. I tried setting a $ROOT environment variable and I tried passing different parameters to -boot_var option to the startup script. thanks for your time, -jeff einhorn
