The closest to describing this particular problem you will find in the
"man" page for the "code" module under the stick_dir/1 function. (If
you have installed an Erlang system and man pages you can view it with
"erl -man code"). But I guess the harder question is, how would you
know where to look in the first place... A cross reference for error
messages would be good I guess...
