 We had people report random runtime failures and we had a hard time to
track it down....and since the inclusion of the patch in Gentoo we had
no reports of build failures (and we are source based with lots of
environments, though there might be more obscure environments were
Erlang is deployed). But I also have no problem with maintaining it
locally here.
