It is not easy to join the Ericsson OTP team right now since Ericsson
Sweden is not hiring at the moment.

It is however possible to contribute to the OTP development by means of
pull request
via Github.
You can read about how to contribute here
https://github.com/erlang/otp/wiki#contributing-to-erlangotp

You can for example find tasks to start working on on http://bugs.erlang.org
or you can have your own suggestions.
But if you have bigger suggestions please contact us first so that we can
agree on a solution that we really want to take into the
main track.
