I think one very interesting point from this discussion is what Richard,
Fred and Joe have all mentioned is that it is not always meaningful or
interesting to take primitives, which might actually be design patterns,
from one language and transfer them directly to another language. This
maybe because of the primitives in the second language, or maybe because of
how applications are structured in the second language.
