I would like to announce an Erlang application 'eavro' for Apache Avro 
binding:

Features:
  * Encode/decode are fully supported for all Avro types

  * Read/write Object Container Files
     * deflate - supported
     * snappy - not yet

  * Avro RPC protocol
     * Client
     * Server
