[erlang-questions] Starting EShell via code

Thanks everyone! I know this is trickier than it  seems, because the shell
is more than just a shell. (Fred, I read your excellent write-up at
http://ferd.ca/repl-a-bit-more-and-less-than-that.html earlier this year.)
Now I've got some new things to try.
