[erlang-questions] How is the mnesia cookie created?

I've run into many different scenarios where I have received mnesia "bad
cookie" errors. Some make sense from my limited knowledge of mnesia. Some
don't.

So, I was hoping somebody could help me determine what the cookie contains.
