[erlang-questions] Using the half-word emulator with the erlang-solutions ubuntu package

kerl looks great but I only need one release and having to activate Erlang
on every shell can be annoying.
A package also takes care of dependencies for me avoiding issues like the
missing libssl headers you mentioned.
