Title: Erlang Developer
Position: Full-time employee **NO contractors**
Location: Sarasota, Florida

Voalté is revolutionizing healthcare communication at the point-of-care using the latest mobile devices, such as the iPhone and Android.  Watch a demo video of our app.   We are improving nurse productivity and patient outcomes by making it easier for nurses to use 1 device to make phone calls, receive critical alarms and send text messages -- voice, alarms, text -- Voalté!

Our servers are running Linux and our application is developed in Erlang using open-source software and standard Internet protocols such as HTTP, XMPP and LDAP.  We also do Voice over IP using SIP/RTP.  

Voalte is looking for an accomplished software developer with at least 1 year of solid Erlang and OTP programming experience.  With practical knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP client/server protocols and applications.  Any experience with XMPP, LDAP, SIP/RTP is a nice to have.

Skills:
1+ year of Erlang and OTP programming
TCP/IP client/server protocols (must know HTTP)
UNIX/Linux system, networking and scripting experience
Team player and good communication with developers, QA and rest of the company
