This is a full-time, on-site position. Telecommuting is not an option.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the USA and be willing to
relocate if necessary.

Based out of Delray Beach, FL, we are searching for a Senior Erlang
Programmer to join our skilled team. Candidate must be equipped to take
full ownership of independent tasks and work with minimal supervision in
an agile environment. Candidate will assist in building highly scalable
data intelligence systems, network services and integrating with 3rd party
systems. Candidate will work with interface developers to build out secure
web based application interfaces and underlying servers.

Demonstrable experience in Erlang/OTP is required, but candidates with
Haskell experience will be considered. Candidate should be familiar with
NoSQL storage engines such as CouchDB, MongoDB, Cassandra.



Responsibilities:

Developing fault-tolerant, distributed messaging systems with extreme
performance and reliability requirements Developing systems and algorithms
for real-time data analysis in a high throughput environment Working
alongside interface developers to produce scalable Web application
interfaces Collaborate with product managers, designers, architects, and
researchers to refine the user experience Integrate with third party
software and systems Maintain full coverage unit tests and documentation
for all code produced Updating and re-factoring of existing code base Work
in an Agile Development Environment with limited Specification documents

Requirements:

US Work Eligibility
4 years professional experience MINIMUM
Must be able to work out of our Delray Beach offices Experience developing
for/on Linux, BSD or Solaris platforms.
Highly proficient in Erlang/OTP and at least one of the following: C,
C++, Java, Python
Experience in fault-tolerant distributed/networked systems development
Experience with network server programming Demonstrable experience with
'NoSQL' storage engine(s) (Document or Key-Value based) Ability to
accurately and thoroughly document your work Knowledge of Test-driven and
Agile development methodologies Experience with Mercurial or similar
version control system(s) Enthusiasm for solving challenging and
interesting problems Excellent communication skills



The following skills would be beneficial:

Experience with Business Intelligence and Report Generation platforms
Demonstrable skills with PHP, JavaScript, CSS, XHTML Enterprise Messaging
platforms experience (EG ActiveMQ, OpenMQ) Active participation and
deployment of code in the Open Source community a plus Experience in
Online Marketing space (Display/Mail/SEO) CRM/ERP/CMS experience MTA
integration experience
