While unrelated to the Erlang question here, I would like you to be
aware of the ongoing change in the naming scheme for network
interfaces. See
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/ConsistentNetworkDeviceNaming
for an example, which would invalidate all scripts/code written for
finding an "ethX".
