[erlang-questions] debugger not starting up

Hello

I am currently using R13B01 on my Mac OSX 10.5.8.
For some reason, I am not able to start the debugger..

I fire up erl and, if i do a debugger:start() or an im(), all i see is a
white-box in the middle of the screen..

I was wondering if anybody else here has experienced anything similar.. and
has found a solution to this..
