Mysterious erl start error

Hi All,

I got this error in a machine when I  tried to start erl.

"~s~n",["beam/beam_load.c(1733): Error loading function global:check_sync_nodes/0: op test_heap a u:\n  no specific operation found\n"]}

uname -a:

2.6.26-2-686 #1 SMP Thu May 28 15:39:35 UTC 2009 i686 GNU/Linux

dpkg --list|grep erlang:

ii erlang 1:12.b.3-dfsg-4

Its a quad core xenon 32bit machine.

We were forced to reboot due to another problem, after which it is working
fine. Any clues on why this occured?
