[erlang-questions] Looking for a code review

Folks, Because of needing to understand how to use SMP, I have been learning Erlang.  I seem to be able to get things to run but suspect I could do many things better.  One of my exercises is a numerical quadrature routine (80 lines including comments).  I would appreciate it if someone out there would be willing to review my code and advise me on how to improve it.
