The Azul architecture is shared memory, so not that similar to
transputers. A better comparison would be the SiCortex massively
parallel message passing systems. However both the Azul and SiCortex
systems have lots of MIPS but relatively little IO, so probably aren't
such a great fit for typical Erlang applications.
