[erlang-questions] bitstr

Hi all,

I install otp_src_R12B-1 version & compile my code. But following error is
coming.

 

../src/test.erl:363: bit type bitstr undefined

 

 My code is this : NewA1 = <<NewA0/bitstr, LastBits/bitstr>>, 

 

How to eliminate this?? What is alternate data type for bitstr??
