[erlang-questions] PING (about O_DIRECT)

Not sure what is going on, but I feel embarrassed, as quite a few people 
made an effort to provide comments on my O_DIRECT question... well, it is 
not that I've been ignored them, as my last two postings did not make the 
list -- least I can do is to thank (again) everyone involved.
