Happy New bug, everyone!  ;-)

$ uname -a
Linux xxxxxx 2.6.9-34.ELsmp #1 SMP Fri Feb 24 16:54:53 EST 2006 i686 
i686 i386 GNU/Linux

$ cat test.erl
-module(test).
-export([f/1]).

f(Args) ->
     io:format("~s~n", [filename:join(Args)]).

$ erl -noshell -run test f "/usr" "local" -s erlang halt
/usr/local
$ erl -smp -noshell -run test f "/usr" "local" -s erlang halt
{"init terminating in 
do_boot",{undef,[{test,f,[["/usr","local"]]},{init,start_it,1},{init,start_em,1}]}}

Crash dump was written to: erl_crash.dump
init terminating in do_boot ()
