Language Bindings for Erlang

I would LOVE to use the HGE C++ Library for graphics
within my Erlang project. I can't find any C++ binding
examples =/

Is Erlang Plus dead? 
Is there an alternative? 

Would I be forced to use an Erlang<->Python<->C++ hack
to use HGE from Erlang? Ew!
