Installing the .boot file.

where can I install my .boot file to be found ?

$ erl -boot myapp
{"init terminating in do_boot",{'cannot get bootfile','myapp.boot'}}

I tried
/usr/lib/erlang/release
/usr/lib/erlang/releases/R10B
/usr/lib/erlang/releases/0.0.0 (0.0.0 is the version of myapp).
Myapp is installed on /usr/lib/erlang/lib/myapp-0.0.0/ and I can load it 
successfully, I can even run it by:
application:start(myapp).
