standalone erlang

Hi list,

Instead of doing my research I just shamelessly 
ask the list for help since I'm in a hurry with
the answer to these questions.

A very nice opportunity has just emerged where I
might be able to get erlang more into mainstream 
Nortel sw development ... maybe ...


Anyway,


1. Where can I read anything about standalone erlang
   which is uptodate.

2. Hello world, how do I build it.
