Vector Normalization Functions in Erlang

Hello erlang-questions,

  I'm  hacking  around  with  some  distributed approaches to a vector
  search  engine  using  Erlang,  and wondered if anyone'd already put
  together  a  neat module for managing sparse vectors efficiently, as
  well    as    things    like    normalization   to   unit   lengths,
  addition/subtraction, etc.

  Why reinvent the wheel when you can reinvent the engine, right?
