Esdl from Emacs

Hi,

When I try to start any esdl program from an Emacs Erlang buffer, sdl hangs:
    Command:36:SDL_SetVideoModeFunc:

I am on Windows and use the latest of all involved tools.

Is there a reason for this to not work, or is it a bug? It's awkward to have to
use a separate erlang node...
