Latest Erlang on Mac OS X Panther

After applying the patch (removing the -L from 
erts/emulator/Makefile.in) the build now stops with the following.  I 
am continuing to investigate but there may be someone out there who is 
faster than I am.

ld: can't map file: 
.../otp_src_R9C-0/erts/obj/powerpc-apple-darwin7.0.0 ((os/kern) invalid 
argument)
