Erlang syntax is mostly similar to Prolog.

Erlang mode for Emacs provides an extensive support for Erlang
coding. Look at `lib/tools-2.1/emacs/erlang.el' file in your
distribution.

The very interesting and useful package for Erlang-node<->Emacs interaction is
